i got moe recently, and he's been my dreamie for a while.. thing is, now that i have him, i'm not really feeling a connection with him :(
i've seen a lot of people say they don't know if amiibo villagers can leave... which really sucks, because thats how i got him. i don't want to have to buy a new amiibo for whoever i choose to replace him with if i decide i dont want him :/

I'm in the same situation with Sprinkle.

I hear they can move out naturally, but it's more difficult. I'm still looking for people who move out a Amiibo Villager successfully without using another Amiibo Villager.

I really don't think its more difficult.. Least to my experience its been about same for both card and non card villagers.

I have Ganon, W. Link and Inkwell in my cycling town. They refuse to move out and I've went through many cycles.

I have four towns, and I've never had an Amiibo villager ping to move out.

But I did have Twiggy, my last to move in, ping to move recently.

man, this sucks :/ guess i'll have to save up to buy an amiibo or get one by chance from a pack

I've only had them ping IF I adopted them from another town. Other than that, none of my amiibo card move ins have pinged. If I don't vibe with them, I have to use another card to move them along. It's weird...

i have 3 amiibo move-ins and none of them have pinged yet.

I've made a thread about it recently where I rage about the fact that I've gotten more than 50 consecutive pings (TTing of course) only from villagers that weren't summoned via amiibo or amiibo card.

I have absolutely no doubt that there's a mechanic at work in my game that doesn't let them move out no matter what I do, but at the same time there has to be something else to it. Other people apparently have no problem getting them to leave so the best conclusion that I can come to right now is that there have to be certain conditions/situations that must cause the game to treat amiibo vs non-amiibo villagers differently...

I've had them move out while still having regular villagers in town...but it did take longer (for the most part). I loaded up on one ocassion to find Toby in boxes while I still had regular move ins to cycle out
So while it's not impossible, it's definitely a bit more time consuming
