Has a villager ever planted a flower over your rare item and turned it into a flower?

So I was laying some items on the ground, making room in my closet and extra strorage closet for them and also leaving some for my other villagers when one of mine came up and planted a flower RIGHT ON TOP OF IT. O_O

I quickly picked it up and the item (rare shirt) became a flower.

I was sooo mad I had a lot of progress made that time, so I opted to not reset.

Thankfully I had more than one of that item.

I tried it by dropping a shirt inside a circle of flowers on the ground and trying to plant a flower on top of the shirt, but the game told me that I can't plant the flower there. Though I haven't witnessed a villager doing it.

Not an item, but a long time ago in a town I don't have anymore.
I was laying down paths and Sally happens to come by and plant a flower right on top of a pattern I just lay down at that time.
Here's a picture of it, this was before the amiibo update.

Nope, I don't hack. I'll add a picture when I can to prove it happens, by dumping non rare items next to an animal villager.

It's happened to me twice one with a rare shirt and another with a reordable items.

I'm kinda surprised this hasn't happened to anyone else and the closest is the sally pic above, only the pattern would be the item I dropped and if I picked it up it gets overwritten as whatever flower was planted over it.

A villager planted a flower while I was placing a pathway tile. It was on top of the tile.

If you have the police station check to see if the rare item is there.
I left pitfall seeds at the event plaza before I got the Police Station in my spare town. Redd tent and event tent landed on those items.
When I got the police station it was full of pitfall, gyroids and Easter candy. It took 3 days to clear those item out.

One time Joan walked in some of my purple roses so many times that when I came over, they were gone! I was a bit annoyed that a NPC could do that
