My favourite bachelor is definitely Vaughn from IoH, around the time that game came out in Europe I was junior-high age and really busy with boys and crushes, so I kinda bonded to him the most. My favourite bachelorette is Leia from HMDS, she was the first character I woo'd.
This year at an anime convention in the Netherlands me and the BF cosplayed Leia and Daryll (am I the only one that ships those two?), but only two people recognized us :c So I was really happy to see that there is a HM topic out here.

I love Harvest Moon to death but the newer games don't interest me much.
My favorite is still Harvest Moon 64. I married Mary because I could not marry her mother.

Anywhere else besides NA got it really late...

My brother has it and I played on it. It gets boring much harder but there should have been much more content. Not worth the money :/ The 3D isn't that 3D either.

I just got ANB and I'm so torn apart from Allen and Neil xD I heard Allen is a huge jerk but I don't mind that... since I like characters that are jerks sometimes

theyre both jerks but neil is a tsundere who becomes nicer later on while allen is a stuck up jerk and pretty much stays like that
i personally went for neil

I only had Harvest Moon DS, which I loved so much, I got loads of the sprites and the biggest house and all the gold sheds with animals and everything. It was basically my childhood along with animal crossing and scooby doo. My favourite bachelor was Rock, and favourite bachelorette was Celia.
