Okay, I've met only one person on a forum with the same love for Harvest moon that I have...and this depresses me. I have faith though; maybe there are some fellow farmers on here, like myself, who'll enjoy talking about harvest moon!~
So, first topic of business; Favorite bachelor or bachelorette in a harvest moon game?

For me, I have to say Hiro from Harvest Moon Tale Of Two Towns. Most hate him for his childish face, but I find him so cute! It's just hard for me to hate his worry wart attitude towards your health as well!~ :3

There used to be a discussion.
i like the games but they get terribly boring after after a while.

I used to LOVE the Harvest Moon games. I spent countless hours playing HM64 when I was a kid.

Unfortunately I just don't find the series that fun anymore. They haven't managed the capture the same charm that HM64 and Back to Nature had. Each new game always feels like one step forward but two steps backwards in that they'll introduce cool new features but most of them are just unnecessary and complicate things. I bought my 3DS in February in anticipation for New Leaf and bought A New Beginning to hold me over and I just couldn't get into it :/ it felt way too tedious to accomplish anything.

Anyway I always really loved Popuri. She was the first person I married in a HM game so I'll always have a soft spot for her.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is the game that I first played on: I accidentally got married to the Harvest Goddess without knowing one could marry her. Yeah, that started a little obsession in these games, to which I just played 24/7 and had dropped a whole letter grade.

Played HM:ToTT. Made it through one season, then quit. Lent it to my friend.

Eh, I understand. I just get into these kinds of games, so I somehow get addicted to them. TOTT got me bit additicive, but I was more into friends of mineral town. A new beginning sadden a bit though. It seemed like I had to force myself to play it...

Hmm, I love Harvet Moon series <3 Favorite Bachelor... that's hard D: considering there are many I just love so much

Uhh, Will from Sunshine Islands.
Wizard from Animal Parade
Cain from ToTT

and too much :c I haven't played New Beginning yet.

I have Harvest moon grand bazaar. Angelo fangirl #1 <3 Btw, is the new 3ds one worth getting?

Ehhhh....that's debatable.... Some like it, while others don't. I haven't got that into the game yet since I only got it last month and I kind of left it alone, so I can't really tell you.. It's a gamble I suppose.

I used to play this all the time. My first game was the gamecube version. I can't remember the name.
After a while, I got remembered this game and bought a wii version and got bored after a view days.

Man, I miss playing Harvest Moon games. The simplicity of them were really addicting. I remember with Friends of Mineral Town, I kept playing mostly because I wanted to reach the 50 year anniversary for the mountain cabin and then the ridiculous amount for the town cottage. Never got to it though cause I started playing the other ones.

I kinda ruined the DS ones for myself because I got an action replay and got carried away with it. >_<

I think the 3ds game was the only one I haven't played yet.

I love Harvest Moon!
But it takes forever to complete. :c
My favorite bachelor is Luke from ToT/AP.
Favorite bachelorette has to be Reina from ToTT.

I use to love Harvest Moon but the last ones were kinda disappointing. The last good one I really liked was Harvest Moon DScute. Since they went 3D it feels like they lost a lot of customization and everything feels a bit bulbous and too toony. The Bachelors and bachelorettes seem too simple and don't have enough personality for my liking. They seem more like the 7 dwarves than actual people, each having only one mood setting.

I've migrated over to Rune Factory for the most part as it at least has the dungeons and interesting story arcs. Right now I'm playing Rune Factory 4 and am liking it. Maybe they should combine the titles and make it so you can unlock two different stories either by dedicating to farming or fighting. Would be nice.

Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life was the first harvest moon game I ever played and I've loooooved harvest moon games ever since! My favorite game was Another Wonderful Life because your child got to grow up and choose what he wanted to be when he grew up. I just loved it! My second favorite is A New Beginning and I loved the older guy, Sosuke.

I liked the gameboy advance one because of the sort of item encyclopedia it had. I liked discovering new items and such, and its a shame not many of the games keep track of this. The fishing thing is always interesting but it isn't enough for me on its own.

The kids were so cute when they grew up in AnWL! I think the farthest I got was when I was married to Marlin and had a teenage son. I was trying to make him into a rancher or a farmer so he could take after me.

But there was this sort of thing you could do in that game where it would give you a huge array of 99x tools, hybrid bags, food items, etc... and I made the mistake of simply just selling them so I had tons of money. When I read my son's diary, he commented on why I had so much money when you can hardly buy anything with it in town.

I'm still holding a grudge against Harvest Moon 64. No sooner do I get a greenhouse built, that the game decides to take it away from me with a damn tornado!

I spent thousands of dollars getting the thing made, and all my seasonal crops growing in there.. only to have it all stolen from me. You won that round, Harvest Moon 64; but in the end.. victory was mine.(well.. as much as a victory as you can get in a Harvest Moon game lol)

Lol I would've smashed my tv if I were you xD I remember playing Harvest moon; friends of a mineral town and my cattle would ALWAYS get sick...mostly because my little sister would steal my game and play with it...^^'

My cows were all producing golden milk containers for me =D I didn't worry about getting sick chickens on days when I'd run out of feed and be unable to get more because the store was closed... I'd just stick em on my roof for the night. No sick chickens up there. xD (gotta love that glitch in harvest moon 64)
