Hello! So I work at GameStop, and I sell at least 1 ACNL hard copy every shift. I personally have a digital download because I know that I'll never trade my game in and I'll never loose it this way. I'm just wondering which version of the game do you have? Sometimes I think it might have been good to get the hard copy in case I get too addicted and need to separate myself from the game but oh well.

I have a digital version, as I couldn't be bothered to wait until 1:00pm to get down to GameStop to get a hard copy.

I have a digital copy because I bought my 3ds first and I was impatient so I downloaded it :p
But I'm always losing my cartridges when I switch games so I guess this is for the best.

Yeah I could've used my employee discount to get it but we didn't have any in stock so I bought some nintendo currency and bought it on my 3ds cause I was impatient.

Hard copy, I had heard form reviewers the digital download lagged sometimes and i didn't want that to happen. Plus i just like cartridges.

Physical copy because I have 2 copies and wanted to switch between them easily

I prefer the cartridge/physical copy over digital. Basically because my 3DS doesn't recognize my SD card sometimes. My main town's on my digital copy, though, so. . yeah.

I have one of each!

Digital: My themed town. More into PWPs, landscaping, paths, etc. I TT in this one. I collected the villagers I wanted to fit my theme, and they will never be allowed to move. Mwahaha.

Hard copy: My "casual" town. Playing for fun on a day-to-day basis--no TTing. Letting my villagers rotate around depending on what I feel like. No worrying about running over grass or anything.

Well it's good you recognized that before buying the digital copy because if something were to happen theres that possibility of loosing everything and that would suck

Hard copy. I prefer hard copies, but I do wish I had gotten a digital copy of this one instead. It's the game I play the most, and it was annoying having to switch ACNL and Professor Layton out everyday just so I could do the daily puzzles (something that's once again going to be a huge pain at the end of this month).

Digital so that I can have another game in the cartridge while I travel such as Pokemon. ^^

Same here, I've noticed on my Grandma's 3DS that the digital download takes extra time to load. It's not a deal breaker but it is definitely noticeable.

I also have this odd fear that if my device ever crashed or reset that I'd always still have the cartridge and I wouldn't have to buy it again. And I have a cute case for them.

I started off with a digital because I knew this was the kind of game I'd be playing A LOT. And I just got a second physical version to do my cycling in a few days ago. :)

I personally have a digital and haven't experienced that in the three months I've had the game... but that's odd. Good to know.
