So I bought the DLC got the little picture from Nintendo in my characters mail box. But no option to work at the airport....games up to date. Though I did reset my island last week and resident services is being closed at 4am so it can upgraded tomorrow. Is there anything in particular I have to do to unlock it putnof curiosity to play. I am totally cool with waiting but just want to make sure everything is good. Was hoping to play why waiting for other things on my island to get going.

Did you update your game by using the Software Via Internet? It should say version 2.0.0 and it has a little home icon in the top right screen when you log into the game.

Yes. And yes. Was the first thing I double checked. Been playing 2 0 since yesterday. And the home icon is there too.

Did you get a cutscene where Tom Nook was suppose to call you and you saw Lottie at the airport? If you did it should've triggered the option to let you speak to Orville and then you should see the option that says "I want to go to work"

No. Which makes me think since resident services will be closed tomorrow it some how prioritized that which means I'd have to wait till Sunday to play with out TTing. That is my current theory but was just checking in to make sure

Oh I see you're in the early stages of making your island. That makes sense. Well maybe try time traveling and do work on your island to 3 stars to see if it will trigger.
