A giveaway implies he is free. I know you stated in your OP that if there was a "debate" about who wants him you would auction him off; however, you then "booked down" user PrettyGuinea. If you want to auction him off then do so, he is quite popular, but don't label a thread "giveaway" then sneak in an auction so as to lure more users.
Trust me, luring users wasn't my intention. It's not classified as a "sale" if only one person would have wanted him. I was expecting only one person to want him. I would have classified it as Selling if I knew for absolute certainty that more people were going to want him. I honestly just didn't know what to classify it as, and I was stuck in the complex between "selling" and "giveaway." Sorry to imply that thought onto you.
*edit: Also, I had no idea he was popular to be honest. xD
