Halloween Decoration Advice(Theme?)

So every year for Halloween I decorate the foyer of my house, which is a really nice sized small room. Last year I didn't really have a theme but I used these haunted house wall decorations which look like this.

The pictures are detachable and the "hallway/door" with the murderer in it is separate as well. So I used the room part for one side of the room cause that is all it covered and then used the "door" on the other side of the room. But I thought maybe this year I could buy another roll of either the same room so I can have a full room with that on the walls or do the other wall with this scene setter, because it looks really neat! (I also found some more plain ones on Walmart like a stone/dungeon wall and a wood panel wall)

Also I don't know if I want to try to do some kind of theme or something, but I have a lawn inflatable cat, I usually put a graveyard in my front yard, and weave giant spider webs and tie them to everything, i usually put one above the foyer cause we have vaulted ceilings, and I thought maybe this year I'd wrap up some limbs and stuff and put them in the web as well. I also have a life-sized pose-able skeleton and a ton of odds and ends, and I also can make just about anything I put my mind too because I am VERY crafty!

But I just wanted some suggestions of what to do, and maybe what kind of theme to go for? I might take a picture of the foyer in it's current condition as well as our little "porch" entry way type thing, maybe the front of my house, so people can give me ideas. I really wish that I could decorate my whole house but other people live here and its a miracle they give me the foyer for one month of the year. XD

but if youre sharing this house u should put stuff to purposely scare everyone else just for fun (like find specific things theyre scared of)

Well my sister is scared of clowns and I was actually thinking of dressing my boyfriend as one just to creep her out, I would do aliens but then he'd scare me too... X.X

Get a coffin and hire someone to dress as a mummy or vampire and lay in the coffin and jump out when people come by.

Have you heard of Atmosfearfx? They make a DVD with super cool effects that make it seem like there's ghosts floating around your home or popping out of your TV. I think it's around $30 and you need a projector o: My favorite piece from them though is called Unliving Portraits which are scary paintings intensified xD

I wish people were more into halloween here!!!

we have a backroom at work that we're going to open up during halloween and make it a crime scene. we are very last minute people so we'll probably just use some garbage bags and hang them like body bags and throw some severed limbs everywhere.

Yeah, its a huge bummer when people aren't into Halloween, I don't know how extravagant Halloween will be around her now due to the fire, but I really hope the community still pulls together for the children!

Well, I wish it was too but here it pretty much children running around for candy and that kinda stuff. It's like if you are older you are obligated to go out and get drunk with friends or such. Idk it's just not as big.

Yeah, I get the whole "let's go to a club and get drunk" plan a lot. And then there's no fun in costumes because everyone just tries to be sexy. I wanna go to a haunted house or go to some movie screenings! There's a ton of stuff to do for halloween for adults too :<

Yeah indeed. I don't mind being drunk or so but yeah I sure wish they had like fun parties and not only like spooky drinks at weird bars.. Like come on.
