No. In order to get Garry's mod you need the following games installed on your computer: Half Life 2, Counterstrike:Source, and a third game that I am not too familiar with.

i dont have half life 2 but my friend is a huge fan he was in the top 10 a year ago.

While you have steam, get the orange box, left 4 dead, and garrys mod.

They're all worth it.

HL2DM has way too many custom servers that take like 10 mins to load. I cant stand that, but it is fun.

I have all of those except for Garry's Mod.....don't you need CounterStrike:Source in order to get Garry's mod?

I'm a big fan of Half Life, well Valve in fact.
I just wish I had a pc that could run these.
