i'm thinking about using the save editor for my newest town that way i can move rocks and trees around quickly. should i do it or just accept the way of nature?

That’s only for you to decide! A lot of people hate hacked towns, but if you want more control over your town, then go for it!

hacking my town is so easy and irresistible that i made a separate town just to hack - but in my main town, switching up rocks and moving trees fast is something ill do and i dont think it ruins the game at all.

I enjoy hacking towns and have 2 hacked towns. there's nothing wrong with hacking just to move rocks and ponds out of the way.

I learned how to hack JUST to move rocks because I hated that I couldn't make any cute paths without the little ******** getting in the way.

Hacking is cool. My town is hacked but it doesn't mean it makes the game boring or too easy. You set your own limits. Noone is forcing you to spawn a million bells or anything. I only use hacking to move pre existing pwp-s, rocks and such. I can place stuff where I normally couldn't, such as riverbanks and rivers. All my hybrids are still bred by me, all my furniture and villagers are legit, pwp-s unlocked and paid for by me etc. But these are my limits, it's all subjective, some enjoy more restrictions, some less. I say go for it!

I've hacked three or four towns and.. to be honest it's fun at first but it becomes EXTREMELY BORING very quickly, trust me.
Of course if you just want to decorate your town it's good but I personally think that it's very hard to play (like go to shops or talk to villagers daily, fish etc...) once youv' hacked you town.
That's why I had to reset my hacked town to start without hacking again because my hacked town was so boring.
And what's cool is that it's not lost since I have all my saves backed up in a 3DS app, so I can just restore them whenever I want to in order to actually see them.

But now.. heh I dont really play anymore so h

I don’t hack. (Don’t know how).

An idea: Too bad the game doesn’t let a mayor substitute a rock with a new one that is a colored rock (which spits out more bells or more goodies). PWP-type rocks. Require a town to have at least two rocks—let it be a PWP substitute (not factored into a town’s total PWP count).

I don’t think hacking is bad. I’ve tried to hack my town once but it did work out

I mean, if you wanna easily achieve a nice looking town quickly then I think hacking is for you.

I would like to hack to move some rocks and possibly move my cafe back. Maybe also remove one or two of my ponds. I tried to install the save editor onto my 3DS but for some reason I can't get it to load up properly. Dunno what I did wrong.
