I actually couldn't find a current thread griping about Club Tortimer or hackers. I'd like to document my experiences there at least for myself. I thought others here might be interested. I do want to keep track of what is possible, to hopefully avoid getting stuck there again.

I did just find an island where someone replaced the shop items with amiibo items. Specifically the gold villager statue, the Zelda item box, the ABD, and something in a bag. So that is new to me.

I remember them because Ghostkid posted a few over a couple of days. ^_^

I don't mind hacking until it interrupts my gameplay or puts my game at risk. I don't care when people go to the island and start throwing out infinite perfect fruit baskets, bells, and other ridiculous items. I won't mess with it and I don't mind people doing it, but I can't stand when hackers start messing with my gameplay or anyone else's. Don't start warping me across the place, or replace items in the shop (that's probably the reason I'm going, is to get island items), and the other annoying things people do there to disrupt people's relaxing gameplay. If you want to hack that's great go for it! I just don't see why they have to take it to the island with them. It just seems disrespectful to me to do that in an online public setting. Like I said though, the minor stuff doensn't get to me just, don't let your hacking affect my game play.

Totally agree with you! I didn't even know it was possible for hackers to warp other players across the map, that's freaky! :o It scares me to think of what else they are capable of. I did meet one on the island once who had all gold badges, a name filled with symbols, and apparently joined ACNL hundreds of years in the future. Thankfully nothing bad happened during that experience, but it's smart to stay cautious during trips to Club Tortimer! (I honestly only go to look for that Jacuzzi Tub they have as a CT exclusive lol)

I agree with Tiffani.

I don't mind the hacking, as long as it doesn't negatively affect my personal game.

Whoa, I didn't even know this was a thing! O: I certainly hope no one can hack it so badly that it corrupts innocents' games!!

Just went to an island that made the hut look like it was buried, once you exited it. The roof was poking above the sand. I was able to enter the hut and leave despite the entrance not being visible.

I had an island where the hut was out oc bounds in tje void....

the hackers can do anything on the island. (years ago it was as simple as dropping beans and tweeters...now, oh gosh)

but, they just can't damage your personal game or town, thanks to the trusty wifi switch/power button.
