Gyroids: what are they for?

We all have that museum room that's chock full of random gyroids we dig up hoping that they're fossils. But other than decorating your home or dancing next to K.K. what are gyroids for? Have any of you found creative ways to use them or do you just wait until gyroid day to sell them for a profit at Re-Tail?

I kind of miss being able to donate them to Brewster! That was a good way of storage and still being able to collect them.

I actually like scattering them throughout my town as decorations. ^-^
They're pretty cute and they kind of look like little spirits.

I wish there was a storage facility for them, though. I'd love to collect them if only I had the room!

I never keep my gyroids, tbh if I could I would make it so they can't spawn in my town at all

well you can substitute them for people. I have the freakoids buried in a basement full of gracie clothings. my puffoids are djs at my arcade and the brewstoids are servers in my kitchen.

I just don't keep them. I even tried selling them on here, there wasn't really much interest.

I once traded a guy two gyroids for tow golden tools so I just hold on to all of them in case some day SOMEONE will want a gyroid XD

I started collecting them hoping Brewster did the storage thing again, but since he didn't I decided to just rent the museum rooms and start collecting them there. Never seen them all or heard them all, seems like a good way to do it now.

Gyroid's are just neat little things to have in the game. No real purpose. I like how they bounce to music though!

I think the best part of Gyroid's is the idea where you are basically grave robbing, because they are based on a thing the Japanese bury with the dead.

I used to collect them on a second character, but even then I started running out of space. So I started putting them in the museum, but after a while I just decided there are so many other things I would rather use the storage space for, and now I just sell them all. Because honestly, they look kinda cool and all, but I really have no use for them and they don't go with any of my room themes.

I kept one dinkloid. I have absolutely no idea what for, but I think it's adorable. I was going to put it in a space shuttle/futuristic room since it looks like a little robot, but I haven't really started on that.

If I like how they sound I keep them, and sometimes I give them to villagers as gifts.

I sell all of mine as soon as I dig them up. I don't need my precious space filled up by such useless items.

I love gyroids - I can't get enough of them. I have four in each room of my house, and all of the second floor galleries of my museum are stuffed with them.
