I have two towns, I usually play one until I have Villagers I like then reset the second and cycle until I have another set of qt villagers. Then reset the other town lol

I start wanting to have a new town/reset....so I buy a new town. I have four now. And I'm now kinda wanting a new town...I just can't buy a 5th lol. I just try to change stuff around in my town.
I may buy a 5th copy once my other towns are more developed
In City Folk I reset 8 times though. I'd reset every 2-4 months.

I have 6 towns and I'm contemplating getting another. 8)
And I'm having problems playing with two towns... How do you do that, with five towns? Respect o_o
Oh, no, I meant that I've had five towns BEFORE this one, heh.
Oh sorry x'D I know some people have this need to reset, at some point I really wanted to reset my main town but all the hard work... so I bought a second copy that I reseted once, and it's fine like that. You should reset your town if you're tired of it, and find someone to hold the things/villagers you really love!

I thought I had that problem until I reset for the third time. I don't think my townmap is perfect, and it certainly has a few hickups here and there. However, it wasn't good for me to be so picky or try to be so neat. My fiance told me something once that changed everything I guess. He said: "My dear, it's just a game. If it's stressing you out that much to the point you can't enjoy it anymore then I don't see the point, and you shouldn't play it anymore". That was all so true and I guess you can get so sucked into animal crossing that you end up forgetting what's important. I realized I never wanted a perfect/neat town in the first place. That I was just spending countless hours plot resetting just so I could have my town look like everyone else's. That in the end I would end up resetting just because I couldn't put a straight path down all because of a rock, or because a project I couldn't move was in the wrong place. Which only happened btw because I was rushing it so much. Anyways, I'm babbling now.
I honestly think that if there was no online feature to the game, that most of us wouldn't have reset so much. Looking at other people's towns and how perfect they are is what made me want to restart, so I stopped. I didn't stop looking, I just stopped caring so much.

I used to always want to reset my town until I stumbled across one that I really loved. I get the bug every now and then because I just fancied the idea of a fresh start and all the excitement of placing my house, meeting new villagers and exploring and landscaping a new town.
Recently when I got the reset itch, I bought a new copy of the game and reset that one until I found a town that I liked, I placed my house etc etc and then when I went back to my old one to reset it (Because I just can't have more than one town at once) I realised how much I loved it and now I'm in love with it all over again ^^
So that might be a good option..
