So, this morning Gulliver appeared on my island, and I helped find the pieces for his phone. It's now 9:35 pm where I am, and he is still here. When I talk to him, he says that his crew read the message, but hasn't replied. Did they just abandon him on my island?

I though he sticks around until the next day (5am). I hardly go to my beaches and only help him half the time so I might be wrong. I really want a pagoda but I don't want to keep waking up this probably-drunkard and listening to his looong dialogues

There's a 0.00001% of this happening and him being a permanent resident on your island (this is when his crew got sick and tired of him and just abandoned him), probably that's what happened? You're pretty lucky if you ask me as those chances are slimmer than getting Raymond on a mystery island, so congrats on getting him! Downside is you won't get any Gulliver items tho so that's kinda sad...

Sadddttt, you have a golden heart if that's the case, I'd just let him die in the beach if I were you as he's not part of my dreamie lineup... But maybe you'd learn to like him as the days pass, hope he has a good life in your island tho, but hoping the odds will be in your favor and maybe he'll ask to move out to find his crew again!
