Guide to getting Animal Pictures

Oh, I give up. Idiot bird. Jitters, whom I've had since I started this town in early July, asked for any kind of fruit. So, I town-hopped and found him a perfect apple. He gave me a blue dresser. I reset. Some red tile. I reset. Some other junk I forget. This little guy just ain't going to give me his picture.
I should also mention, when villagers start giving you furniture like thrones and moons, it's likely they will give you there picture. After they give you those furniture items, next time they request something do the reset trick.

Quite helpful. I need to get Velma and Biff's pictures pretty quick so they can move out.

Random furniture... hmm.. the only furniture that I really know of that is a sure sign is the throne and moon. I think high-value furniture means it's a good chance. Most likely you need to raise up friendship more.

Bunnie asked me for an ocean fish today so I gave her a shark in the hopes of her picture.
She just keeps giving me awful furniture though so I don't think our friendship is high enough, my town isn't even 3 weeks old yet.

Talking to a villager to raise friendships takes almost 3 weeks or more if you talk every single day.
Also, I think that spotlight items in previous games are the same in this game. Appearently a lovely dresser is a spotlight item.
I know the throne is worth a lot, and a moon too. SO I probably won't use the reset trick until I get one of those furniture items. I think I've built enough friendships with villagers I don't want, so I might get their picture in the mail when they move.

The megaphone is most definitely useful. When you are medium to high friendship, they will wave or bow. When you are at max, it's almost guaranteed you will gte a picture when you give them a perfect fruit or something.

Well I guess this means I can get Kittys picture. She waves to me when I call her name and she sends me random letters. I've been talking to her every day, sending her presents, and fulfilling all of her requests for a month, so yeah I guess she likes me. She never asks for random bugs or fruit though, it's always something specific.. So I haven't had the chance to give her a rare item.

So I was trying to get kitty's picture today. She had me do the petition for her, came back, gave it to her. She didn't give me her picture, I reset 5 times and still no picture. Maybe I just have a super high friendship with her, but one not enough to get me the picture? I've had her for 4-5 weeks, have talked to her every single day and sends her letters, and do her requests. She sends me random letters even when i don't mail her for a day and waves to me when I call her name.
Sometimes villagers just like to stalk you and stalk you and top it of by MAKING YOU WAIT ENTERNITY

my villagers are doing the same thing, but they are giving better and better gifts. At max friendship theres a better chance of receiving a picture. When your about to get a picture, they'll say something like, "I'm talking about something more important... like friendship" or something like that.

Well I'm about to try to get it again. She's asked for something for her house, so I'm going to bring her a whale shark I had sitting upstairs.
I've been trying so hard to get Tabby's picture. She's been in my town since I got the game, second day it was out. I've done a petition for her and do so much stuff for her. She also usually randomly comes in to visit me with no heads up every day I play as well if I'm in my house... I've also written her a ton of letters. :\... I'm going to pester the heck out of her now, even worse, since I see the megaphone test works. I'll try giving her a perfect apple or a rare bug. Tabby. Stop being so heartless to me. orz
