Guess who decided to plonk himself right in front of my mayors house!

I created a new character so a villager WOULDNT plonk themselves in front of my mayors house, but as its him ive decided to keep him and see what all the fuss is about as ive never had him in my town before. xD

Any of this happen to you guys? have you kept those villagers or just made them move asap?

Oh this happened two days ago for me. Marshal moved in, RIGHT in front of Marina's house. And same with Genji, though he decided to move behind Curly's house. I would plot reset... if I knew how to do that.
And now their houses are already placed, so I can't do anything about it now. Oh well. :p

If you know how to do, you can just plot reset. :)

If she plot resets she'll most likely lose Julian if it's a random move-in

Ah, I adore Julian! I assume you were just villager resetting? Well, it looks like you may be able to work around it should he become a permanent villager, and he is worth it ;) I might be a little biased....
When I first saw him I wondered what all the fuss was about, then I got him in my cycle town and loved him enough to want him in my main town :)
Marshal plonked himself in an inconvienient spot. I loaded up and forgot all about plot resetting, silly mistake...he isn't in a terrible spot but it does stand out in comparison to where the other villagers are :(

Yeah i was plot resetting as i only have the five starting villagers and i didnt want a crummy villager plot in front of me, which they seem to love to do!

but ive decided to keep him and see what all the fuss is about plus he can sugest me Stonehenge!

and if he does move in i can always cyle him out and back in my town? (to a hopefully better spot!)

Please, villagers do that ALL the time :o I feel sorry for you, but that happens constantly to everybody. You could have figured out every single perfect spot for a villager to place their house, and it will (almost) never go there! Believe me, the max time I was plot-resetting was over eight hours, CONTINUED.

And just to mock me, there were three or four times a villager placed it just one line too up, or too too left, etc... but not in the exact perfect place I wanted it to be!

Eventually, you must let it aside and be grateful they didn't destroy anything...

Congratulations! I think you can make it work, despite his house being right there. It's not like he's there forever. You can always move him out!
I had a similar experience. I was villager resetting for Wendy, and the villager was 1. Not Wendy 2. In a horrible spot.
I checked the campsite for that day, and Julian was there. I had to pass him up, unfortunately.

I had that happen with Tammy. She's been with me for about 8 minths now and now I started proper landscaping and I can't wait to move her out as I want some space in front of my house!
