As you all know lol, I lost Whitney by accident in Tadfield. I go to check on Tadfield today, and whoever adopted her didn't have a clear void. Hideous Maelle is moving in right on top of my precious blue pansies and right in front of my alt's house. Is there any way to move your 10th villager out?? I can't kick anyone else out of my town, 7 are my dreamies and 2 are a friend's.

I've never had my 10th villager ping. That is not fun. It couldn't even had at least been Mallary instead of Maelle, who I would prefer although I want neither one.
I had this happen once. I sold Fauna. The person told me they didn't have a clear void, but I didn't fully understand that. Truffles moved in from the void. I also lost Kid Cat to an accident trying to take care of this mess. It was chaos...Trufflegate 2015. However I moved Poncho in as my new jock, making her my 9th villager out of 10. I then greeted myself to her, then ignored her. I had a villager ping, I TT'ed 6 days ahead, saved, and then TT'ed six days back. Then she pinged me and I got her out and moved Phoebe in.

Yeah I'll admit to you when people I don't know that well ask for favors that require them coming to my town, I hesistate because I don't want void move ins again if I have 9 villagers.
I realize now I should'e voided her. (I could not bring myself to urgh) Or asked for a clear void. Sigh. Hindsight is always 20/20 right lmao

Yeah I voided villagers like Julian because it's just easier than dealing with this again. I felt bad about it. I just wanted Fauna to go to a loving home since we were good friends and she gave me her picture. Luckily she went to someone who had her as a dreamie, so it was all worth it!

I might actually do that. I can move Lobo from Sodapop to Tadfield as a replacement for Wolfgang too. And to get Maelle on the road to hell. Rachel, you're a genius.
The only problem would be that I wouldn't be able to get Freya in Sodapop (2wolf4me and 2snooty4me) but that's ok. I could get her in Tadfield to replace Whitney instead of Portia.

On a side note ,i kinda hate how this forum or any other one makes us think that "voiding" is a bad thing. Theres nothing wrong with it, they move out to a new town either way.
Darn it, these people and their crap-filled voids! I always clear and demand (lol) that anyone visiting clear theirs when I have a spare space. And Maelle? I hate to say it, but I had her and she was awful 
Now I recently heard a rumor that people have indeed managed to ping out their 10th villager but it toom lots of time and tt. I don't know if you want to do that. I think your best bet is what you said: move someone over to Tadfield and make Maelle your ninth. Then get her the heck out if Dodge!

It isn't bad. When I voided Julian I didn't even care. I needed room for all the personalities in my town and Jacques was a million times better than any smug I had ever had, including him. I had to do what I had to do and quickly because Truffle arrived to stomp on all of my plans with her big, pale feet.

D-D-Dorian?!?!?! Did you just admit you didn't care for a villager?!?!?! Haha just giving you trouble. I never met Maelle but I didn't like her just looking at her (I know that makes me sound terrible). Mallary looks decent but Blanche is my snooty and I love her way more than these snooty ducks!

Andy, I know! And trust me, it is not easy to admit. But to be honest... there are two villagers I dislike. There, I said it (lol)! Robin and Maelle. I had Robin in Cocoplum and she was just a butt-hole from start to finish. Lol, she honestly rubbed me the wrong way. And when Maelle was a starter in Shika, I was honestly happy. I had always wanted to meet her. But she suffered from the dreaded butt-hole-idous as well. Two out of a few hundred isn't bad, lol.

Well don't feel bad! I have only 2 villagers I hate as well. Truffles, which I started hating last week, and Queenine who I have hated since 2002. She was my complete enemy in the Gamecube AC. I said so many mean things about her in my diary in my AC town as a 12 or 13 year old kid at the time. If Jane was a current villager now I'd include her too..
