I did the plot reset thing for like an hour and every time it kept giving me snooty villagers. Nothing else. I don't really want a snooty villager but I guess I should just pick one and deal with it.

So I went with Freya. Her house didn't do anything but take away a few flowers and a tree. Didn't mess up my path or anything, so I guess I can't complain right? lol

I just needed to vent about this. Sorry.

If it's one personality's turn to move in, you will be seeing only villagers of one personality.

When I was plot resetting for the best Uchi, I only got Uchi villagers during plot resetting. Same with lazies and snooties.

Here's how you can tell who's turn it is to move in.

The villager moving in has the exact same personality as the second most recently moved out. So if your most recent villager to move out is a normal, the next villager to move in may not be a normal villager, but the villager after is normal.

Yeah, that's what happens when you're missing a certain personality in your town. If snooties are the only missing personality, you'll only get snooties. If you're missing several, the game will pick from one of the missing ones each time you reset. If you have them all, it'll be random each time you reset.

Isn't it a shame?

I think it should be easier to exclude villager personalities from a town, and that, beyond the initial set of move-ins, the game should not try to specifically fill in any missing personality types.

Uchi villagers keep on ending up in my town through random move-ins, despite how often I move them out. It's very frustrating to have them forced on me like that.

For that reason, I try to stay at nine or more villagers, so random move-ins do not occur, and the only move-ins will be individuals chosen by me from the campsite.
