Hello there everybody!
Just bought "AC:New Leaf" yesterday and became mayor or "Totoro" town, so I thought it'd be nice to join a community like this to get some new friends and get the most out of my gaming experience! This is my first venture into the "unexplored lands" of AC, but I do have experience with other life simulation games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory.
A little about myself:
- I'm in my 20's, have studied geography (so I love traveling and taking photos) and am a bit of a bookworm (mostly science fiction/fantasy but also books about philosophy and psychology).
- I enjoy most types of games, both video games (mostly platformers, RPGS and life simulation) as well as Magic the Gathering or just some general board games.
- I'm also a manga/anime fan (if you couldn't tell be my town name!); Fullmetal Alchemist and Neon Genesis Evangelion being all time favorites, as well as less serious stuff like Azumanga Daioh.
- Finally, I love both listening to and playing music (guitar and piano). My favorite genres are usually "old ones": early blues, jazz (swing/bebop) and folk (Dylan, Simon & Garfunkle etc.), but I also enjoy most forms of rock and some hip-hop (Jurassic 5, Blue Scholars and the like).
