I want to see if anyone had a moment were something really horribly happen to there town & made it better trying to fix it.

for a example i had two moments were i freak out because me being a idiot.

First being, kyle the wolf one of my Favorite Smug villager in New Leaf that i got from the campsite, well his house landed in area that really screw-up a major part of my pathway to a bridge in my town, his house was in way & it also a eye sore to look at. so i try to fix my pathway it more than 6 hours but afterword when i took good look at it; i made it a lot better by change the flow of the path from police box to the Re-tail they're right next to each other if want know, so Kyle's house actually made my pathway from the bridge to my Town Boulevard awesome.

Second being losing a my villager Bangle because of time travel to order get a spot open up for my dreamie Freya, it was really stupid for the reason trying to quickly & i had a villager i really wanted to be gone, so after dealing of the lose of bangle a villager that i like but not as much freya. i went over to to the person's town that was selling freya to me, so i got her moved to my town & pay that person for her. went back to my town & started to time travel to the next day, when i begin that day by started look for freya's house plot was at & i when take look by were bangle house was at, there was shock found out freya's house plot landed almost near to bangle's house was at not only that but freya plot was two space left & inline to Wolfgang's house. that made me so happy because i think of wolfgang & freya as a couple so having there houses right next to each other that made my day & to think that me losing bangle got me this Prefect villagers house placement for my wolf couple.

Biggest disaster was losing Hans in Neo Mercury. However I sort of averted it by having someone hold on to him so I could move him to my side town.

In an old town that no longer exists, I remember I was plot resetting for Zell (I had this one place where I didnt really know what to do and I hoped Zell would end up lining up with the path I had there). I stupidly started with my mayor by accident and Zell?s house ended up right in the middle of that path. I spent the next 2 hours or so just erasing all paths, collecting and reorganizing the hybrids around that survived the ordeal and... by the end I ended up liking how the whole zone looked like 10 times more that what I had originaly planned there!

Well, that was a bit of a sore to read.
I was plot resetting a few days ago, hoping for a Normal to show up when Fang's plot appeared. Problem was, it was on the edge of my path below the Plaza and would mess it up a lot. Baabara just moved out so now I re-did the paths and it turned out pretty good! It has more potential than before.

I like how you can learn a lot from this game. I've learned about trading and business for sure. But also this lesson, that sometimes a disaster isn't the end of the world. If you have a good attitude, determination, and creativity, sometimes you end up with something better. I've had disasters where I literally had to go through and take out PWP's and plants, and re-do...then ended up finally liking what I ended up with MUCH better than before. The "disasters" force us to take action sometimes when we wouldn't have otherwise.

one of the best thing I've read on this site yet

After I reset the game I remember that I just lost the picnic blanket PWP that was requested.
It worked out for the better. It gave me more time to rethink the park and placement of everything.
I now have 2 parks on each side of the pathway with a the picnic blanket in it's right spot.

It also saved the day with a villager dropping their house in my planned park. The next day I added a flower bed that stopped a villager from moving in there.

Last August, Harvest was devastated by Hurricane Marshal. Marshal destroyed many gold roses and paths. It was the ugliest thing the citizens of Harvest has ever seen. Citizens, Peewee and Flora, fled to other towns to safety. Mayor Cherry had a major breakdown and changed Beautiful Town Ordinance to Bell Boom Ordinance to rebuild Harvest.
In the end the mayor murdered Hurricane Marshal with an ax and sold him off for five million bells. Villagers of Harvest triumphed and lived happily ever after. The End.

Greatest Triumph from a Disaster? Nope.
I do have a great disaster from a triumph.

Charlise moved out, her home was also in a terrible position, right infront of my bridge.
Renee, a dreamie, moves in. Her home is in an even worse spot closer to the bridge. I demolish the bridge. It cannot be rebuilt in the same area again...

My disaster was originally, I wanted my path from Re-Tail to go straight down to a bridge that crossed at a specific part of the river. Unfortunately there was a rock in the way on the other side. So I moved the path over and made a cute intersection, and where the rock was blocking, was just enough room for a 1x1 PWP, so I put my beloved zen clock there. It's the perfect picturesque spot for it now!

Huh. Let's see.

I feel like I haven't had any major disasters yet- but I try to roll with the punches, I guess. I mean, the worst thing that's happened to me, in my opinion, is almost all of my black tulips dying. I really like the black flowers in general, but I know I can grow more.

I question my bridge placement, but I can destroy and rebuild and all that. There are times when I'm just like NUKE EVERYTHING, but- eh. It's okay over here.

A little while ago my nephew TT'ed me a few months into the future when he was fiddling around with my 3DS... I ended up loosing nearly all of my flowers, gaining around thousand weeds and a rafflesia, and not to mention I lost one of my first five villagers that I thought was pretty cool.
I was thinking about giving up the whole game or just resetting but in the end I just continued to work on my town so now it doesnt look like a total wasteland. Besides, now that I think about it having that villager's house where it was would've totally messed me up when I was putting in paths.
