Grass won't regrow even after TTing?

I attempted to regrow my grass by time traveling a month forward, but for some reason failed.
Barely nothing changed but my hair.
Last time I did this, it worked like a charm...
What's wrong?? ;-;​

You have to stay off the grass, I think. If not it can't happen :/

Could this be an area where it just dirt?
If I remember correctly, there are some areas that just stays dirt.

I pretty much have the same problem too so I've just resorted to putting paths on those areas or planting flowers :/

I've been doing quite a bit of running around to finish my town and making trades on time lol,
so this was my fault >.<

I would just time travel a little further out. What always works for me is TTing to winter, letting full snow settle on the ground, and then TTing to spring. Grass everywhere and your town will be beautiful.

Another factor to grass regrowth is how often you start the game up. Just for future reference.

Restarting the game is an option. So is planting trees, I've heard that it can help with grass regrowth. If anything the trees will hide the look until it actually does start growing in the way you want it too xD.

Did you jump forward a month all at once or did you do it day by day? It won't work day by day if you keep walking all over the grass. It will if you just jump forward a month, play, save and quit, and then TT a day back.

Some patches will remain as dirt though forever, which is already determined by the game when choosing the town's layout.
