Gran Turismo 5

Gran Turismo has always been my favorite racing game series. I've played all of them, except for GT5: Prologue, GT4, and the PSP version. Now, the release of GT5 is getting somewhat close, and I'm very excited about all the new features, like night racing and affiliation with NASCAR and WRC. I think it will be the best racing game so far. What are your thoughts?

Never been into racing games myself but the graphics look impressive to say the least. I feel as though that someone who is into cars could probably appreciate it a lot more, given how many models are in the game.

I've got it pre-ordered, I'm excited for it. Kinda. I've got the PSP version and it's no understatement to say I suck at the game. I've got Prologue lying around somewhere, I've been meaning to play it since I bought it new at Target for $5. The only other one I've played before that is Gran Turismo 3, I didn't like it much. Then again, I didn't like racing games much.

I loved gran turismo 3, even if I knew nothing of what I was doing. (camaro z28, max specs = win win win due to speed, then use the go-kart car)
I wanted to get gt4, but having not beaten gt3 to it's fullest (I can't touch that dirt road/drifting races, *censored.2.0*'s impossible), but I do have the psp version, even if I don't have my psp anymore... (smashed it to pieces ) it was enjoyable, and I liked the custom soundtrack feature, as it's been said, the game loses a lot when the pressure sensitivity isn't there. sad face.

gt5 looks unbelievably realistic. and then with the 3d-mode? holy balls.
I probably won't get it until greatest hits/price break, but I intend to at some point.

gran turismo = the real driving simulator, as it's advertised.

I would preorder it but I already spent my money on two preorderd games, fully paid off on both of them. I love the GT series. My favorite out of all of them has to be GT2.

Yeah, my PS3 sucks at keeping me warm during winter, too. Maybe I should get an XBox.

lol, gt2 being impossible to 100% complete.

also, of the three consoles (all of which are pretty fail, atm/imo) I'd say the ps3 looks best. but that's just me, and I don't own an XBAWKZ, but don't plan to, either.
