Gracie's Third Floor

I love most of the gorgeous and princess sets - I genuinely think they're super pretty. But the plain Gracie set, ewww. And the card set is pretty much only suitable for casino type rooms (which was probably the intention, haha). Some of it is just so hilariously over-the-top though, like the Gracie hat, that I can't help but love it.

It's like real-life designer brands though. A lot of it is hideous and overpriced. She's the same way - but I like her despite it all, since she doesn't harass me while I'm shopping like certain little raccoons ...

Oh the card set! I forgot about that. Yeah it's pretty creative looking, but hard to use. I put them all in one room and it's dizzying. Especially if you put in the wall and floor in there too. Yikes! (But I still kind of like it for the craziness.)

I like her argyle designs (I might be the only one) but yeah, a lot of her clothes are hideous. Especially the animal print clothing... *shudders*. I once scared my friend by turning up in her ACNL town sporting a full body zebra costume and a giant hat from GracieGrace.

i love argyle! so i like her designs, but others are like... really? your big inspiration was a hotdog?

I was just going to say that! If anything, this makes her more accurate to real fashion designers!

I like pretty much all of the furniture sets, but I could live without her Gracie set. With the clothes I think it's a 50/50 on if I like them or not. I think the hotdog and caterpillar type of shirts can be cute in a silly sort of way, if you wear them with plain bottoms, and I like the dresses usually, and the trousers/jeans that have the red part on the knees, I forgot what they're called. The brown striped shirt though, that is really awful in my opinion!

Is her stuff really so expensive? I always hear about how ridiculous GG's prices are but I don't have her yet so I have no idea. in the hundred thousands? In the millions? I'm so curious.

the furniture is pretty expensive. the sweets stuff is the cheapest. some pieces of furniture cost over 200k bells. if you're looking to get like, the whole princess set, it adds up really quickly.
some pieces of the Gracie set are also really expensive... shelf is 350k bells, one of the pieces I actually like from that one.

the clothes, though? not too bad, really. it adds up when you buy a lot, but they could be higher priced than they are.

I used it for Nick's second-floor room in my first town, Applewin.

I could have done some refurbishing. But, at the time, I wanted to just see the Card set in its original form. After enough time passed, I didn't feel motivated to refurbish any of it, say in gold, because it's just there for appearances.

I LOVE Gracie Grace

Her pants and clothing designs are some of my favourite in the game e.g. her pleather pants ARE TO DIE for.

As for her furniture I only really like the sweesweets series and the gracies series otherwise the rest is kinda lame in my opinion.

Sale items are by far my favourite as you can't find them on normal days.

I'd say some is, some isn't. I'm wearing one of her outfits- tuxedo, so I can't say they're all ugly. I also LOOOOOOVE the Gorgeous Series. The Princess is so-so (probably would like it more if I were a girl), the Sweets is kind of funny, while I hate the Gracie Series, that is ugly to me. At least she changes it quarterly, and I've been through all her stuff now since she's been in my town over 18 months. It really depends on the stuff she has, some is awesome, some is hideous, and the rest is so-so take it or leave it kind of feeling.

Yeah, I agree. Most of the things are really weird, or ugly, I could see using some of it as a costume or something but i don't see the point in most of it, and never really see people's characters wearing the items from there, besides the wigs/hats and maybe a cake dress here or there.
