Oh, and I just skimmed this thread, but when Gracie shows up, do ALL your fashion checks one right after the other or else you'll end up waiting 2 months like I did once. >_<

Pass her check, SAVE your game, then restart and set it at 5:59 AM and do it again. Rinse and repeat. You'll save yourself SO much angst!

Okay, okay...it's a cheat...but I recommend it because after the first time nearly getting an ulcer when I read that tip I saved myself so much agony for my next towns.

Wow, that's totally amazing! I had no idea you could do that!!!!

I left my game on last night, I just closed the ds and let it sleep, so I won't be able to do that this time, but the next time she shows up I'm going to do my last two checks! Yay!!!

And I will definitely do this in my next town!!!

I've been working on it several days now, even though I tt, her visits seem few and far between. But I'm going to try the save and go back to 5:59 the next time she shows up. I really want to be able to shop at Gracie's!! I want beautiful furniture for my house, and great clothes, I want GRACIES!!!!

If you left your game last night, can't you use yesterday's date and just reset the clock time to 5:59 AM? I don't see why not! You can give it a shot, anyway. If she's in the Plaza you're set to go!

Oh, and yes, Gracie's stuff is the BEST! You have to save up to spend the obscene amount of bells she charges, tho. Plus, you get to hear her little giraffe heels clicking as she follows you around the boutique.

Yeah, I couldn't believe some of the prices!
But what else are bells for except to spend, lol.

Seriously, tho, her Boutique is awesome. I'm not that wild about her giraffe and zebra clothes, but I somehow MUST have them. I don't know why...maybe because they look more awesome ON my mayor than on the mannequins? Regardless, I LOVE the festive gown, the coin-headpiece, black veil, and some of the dresses I've seen so far. I'm not too far into New Leaf so I have lots more of Gracie's surprises yet to come. But man, I'll really need to hit that darned Island again. And all that for a nice house and a stylish mayor!

Thanks to everyone's advice and tips, I completed my last fashion check today!

Gracie said she's going to open a store in my town, and Timmy (or Tommy, I forget which) said they're closed for renovations tomorrow! Hooray!!!

I certainly won't have any trouble spending bells now, lol! I want to buy a couple of different sets of furniture for my house, a lot of clothes, a few wigs . . .

What were the first things you bought when you got Gracie's in your town?
