Gracie and Time Travelling

So I just loaded up my game, it's nearly 9pm and I discovered Gracie is in town for the final fashion check. I have no clothes for the theme she wants.
I was wondering if I time traveled backwards before 5pm so I can order some clothes, will she disappear? Or will she still be there?
If she does, was there anyone who would be willing to let me buy, or borrow some clothes with a Modern theme? This is my last fashion check and I really want to do it!
