After three years of having my temps (I don't particularly like driving), I took my driving test today. It was pouring down rain at the time- I got drenched on the way to my car. After a bit of nervous freakout with the headlights, I started the maneuverability test. (Kinda like parallel parking) I hit a cone once, but as long as you don't knock it over you get a second chance. I passed it on my second chance - I had been practicing all week. The driving part was easy, though I did get points off for random stuff.
So, that's one more rite of passage into adulthood!
I'm like you, not too crazy about driving... been sitting on my permit for a year, it's gonna expire next week. I'll have to take the written test again, it seems...
I have to come out and congratulate you being well 26 , I don't hide it, and not being able to drive because of health , it is still nice to see a fellow tbtreer acomplish tough task.
Well done!
My sister got her 'provisional' licence which means she can drive around as long as she has a person with a full licence in the car with her.
I can drive perfectly, when coming home as soon as mom gets off the main road she allows me to drive a couple of miles to my house.
I'm can't get my licence for another 3 or 4 years though.
