And I'm hooked.
As someone who skipped one generation of Pokemon (the last game I played was Diamond) and only recently decided to return, I can say I'm glad I did. So much I remember about the original RuSa is in this game, and so much more. I'm just now discovering several new aspects of the game that I've come to like, such as the mini-games on the Pokenav and the collection of Mega Stones. And as someone who used to beat myself to death trying to figure out the perfect Pokemon to teach a non-replacable TM to, the ability to now use TMs over and over is HIGHLY welcome!
My main gripe? The controls took a while to get used to. But thankfully, that's a minor complaint...this game is a definite thumbs-up from me.
I have no clue if there's a way to be friends in-game similar to AC, but I'm still looking forward to trying to complete my Pokedex yet again with round-the-world trading.
