Does anyone on here listen to Gorillaz or even know who they are? I am absolutely addicted to the characters and their songs. If you do know them, who is your favorite band member? Mine is definitely 2D :)

Kind of ^^;
I remember Feel Good Inc being popular when I was a child, so it was surprising to see Josie Charlwood do a cover of it :3

I do like the original also, but I tend to prefer clear female vocals ><;

I loved them! But Damien albarn gone back to blur... So I don't think there be doing anything, any time soon :(

Oh my favourite member is noodle
and 2d

I've never heard of them :/

but thats because i hide away listening to jpop and the national lel

they make dang cool album covers, ill give them that but not my music really.

Gorillaz often hits or misses for me, but Empire Ants is up there among my favorite songs of all time. Can't say I have a favorite member because all four sort of define Gorillaz, but I've always dug 2D's design and personality.

Love them. Oddly enough as a clicked on this thread a Gorillaz song came on on my playlist lol. I like murdock and noodle

Russel is underrated, as well as a lot of songs on 'The Fall', I never really listened to it until recently

Man, Gorillaz takes me back. I remember the old "official fansite" or whatever it was... and when you put their first album into your computer, you could muck around in Murdoc's winnebago. That was fabulous.

Somewhere along the way I stopped keeping up with the story or looking at in-character interviews but I really wish I hadn't! The music is great, of course, but the story and characters are half the fun. I have a lot of catching up to do, since watching the music videos doesn't really explain all that much.

I remember hearing Damon Albarn saying somewhere that Gorillaz was done for, and rumors that Jamie Hewlett wasn't happy with where the former was taking the band (though I have no idea if he meant that artistically speaking or in a broader sense) and obviously they both have to consider that it's pretty damn expensive to animate things the way they do (thus all the repeated gestures/frames/etc in the videos)... but then Damon comes out and says there's going to be something out from Gorillaz in the future, so I guess they're not done after all. I'm excited, but also pretty damn confused.

Favorite albums would have to be their first, and Plastic Beach. I absolutely adored Plastic Beach! Demon Days fell flat for me though, as did The Fall. There were a lot of gems on the D-sides/G-sides though too.
