Hello, everyone! This is gooieooie. Welcome to my shop!

If you'd rather buy with Bells, see here:
http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?146893-Gooieooie-s-Shop

Right now, the only items available are the ones below:

Tools:
Silver Slingshot - 3 in stock - 20 TBT each
Silver Shovel - 1 in stock - 20 TBT each

Furniture:
Rooster of Barcelos - 1 in stock - 30 TBT each
Lovely Bed - 1 in stock - 20 TBT each
Aurora Screen - 1 in stock - 50 TBT each

Gardening:
Fertilizer - 1 in stock - 50 TBT each

Misc. Items:
Fortune Cookie - 4 in stock - 20 TBT each

The reason for this is because I want to know: what items would people like to see to start off my shop? If I have the means to get it, I'll sell it!

Bump. Remember, you can request an item to be stocked. Request an item: if I get my hands on it, it'll be stocked!

Bump. First person to suggest something can have half off on an item in the store, one currently in stock, or, they can wait and use the half price later.

Also, added more items to the stock! Read the OP.

The items are really over-priced, considering how easy it is to get them.

Huh? I didn't really check the TBT exchange rate... but I'll lower the prices lots, to attract more people.

Are the prices good now?

Bump. Will someone please post something encouraging? I said that you can suggest for items in the store but no one's even listening... :(

I think the problem is you're offering obscurities that are either easy to get on your own or you just don't use them after you get the better one, like the silver slingshot. Try things like hybrids, or, like PrincessCarli suggested, fertilizer, and along with that other gardening items.

OK, thank you! :D I'm glad that I'm finally starting to get suggestions, at least. As soon as my giveaway is done, I'll get to work getting the suggested items in stock.

From my personal experience, this is what I've found to work in my shops as well as some observation of shops in general.

☆The best source to start when making a shop, if you don't have a lot of gold to start or Grace's shop, is to take up hybrid breeding. Hybrids are always in demand and for the most part, they are fairly easy once you get the hang of it. Costing very little money to start, but can take more time if you don't time travel (even if you do it can still take time). Just ask for help if you can't figure out how to breed hybrids. You can compliment your hybrid business with additional gardening goods like fertilizer, lucky clovers that pop up now and again, and even mushrooms sometimes.

☆The next suggestion is if you time travel/don't care about losing villagers/have two copies of the game. Time traveling to different holidays and events that hand out unorderables can also sell fairly well to players who do not time travel. However, it can be dangerous for your town and villagers if you don't want weeds or to lose one of them. If you do this though, April Fool's Day is an excellent holiday to take advantage of for villager pictures.

☆If you have Gracie's Shop, you can sell unorderable sets by time traveling through the days slowly for pieces. This is best utilized by having the freedom to time travel back and forth without a worry as most profit will come from buying pieces on the sales days at the end of a season's last month.

☆Investing in orderable DLC's can also be a bit helpful. Overtime, if people purchase them you can pay for the DLC and make a profit. However, it is a gamble since many people will let others catalog DLC's for free.

☆Some final product suggestions: If you finished your museum, then all those spare art and fossil pieces can sell to those who are trying to finish theirs. Streetpass items, if you get a lot of those, can sell for a bit as well. Talk to Saharah whenever you get a chance for a change at Saharah wallpapers/floors; those can nab you a nice price. Uhm . . . I'm sure there's more, but yea. Those are what I could think of on 0 hours of sleep, haha.

^Most of this is for Re-Tail, if you plan to do TBT I'd stick to hybrids and unorderables only like Gracie's stuff rather than fossils or art or orderable DLC. For your TBT shop try to keep your TBT prices similar in value to your AC prices using a given TBT rate. Generally, you can choose to value 1TBT at 5-9K. Whichever rate you choose just divide that into the cost to get the TBT rate. So if you had a 30K hybrid and a rate of 6K TBT you'd divide 30K by 6K for about 5TBT.

MiloticTrainer, cool. I see people like fertilizer. :)

I added one bag of fertilizer for now.

Try adding golden tools! Also, sell hybrid flowers as mentioned above and bush starters!

Psssh ctrl+c then ctrl+v..
Yeah no can do atm.
Donevor practically listed all the best suggestions.
Hybrids and bushes are great low expense ways of earning some bells, look out for pink hybrids and starts since those seem to be the most popular.
