I know like "tarantula islands" are out there, but those are rare and tunips can be tricky. Any way sorta like the "beetle island" method like in new leaf?

you could make a tarantula island by going to any island and then removing all the trees, stumps, flower buds and rocks. And then you run around scaring away as many non-tarantula bugs as possible and try to get them to spawn. However, this method can be verrry slow and takes a long while to fill your inventory. Even worse now that there's water bugs in the rivers and ponds, which you have to stop and catch in order to get rid of them. But tarantulas will be leaving after this month is over

Harvest fruit trees. Get all the types of fruit and farm them, you can make bank since each fruit (besides coconuts and your native fruit) sell for 500 bells each

My methods of making Bells:

- fishing and bug catching whenever I see one,
- selling hot items
- money trees (10,000 Bells planted in glowing spot)
- turnips every week
- non-native fruit

Fishing is the big one for me. Only fish at the pier since you have the chance of getting great fish like tuna or marlins.

If you have a friend who has a different native fruit, fill your pockets with your own native fruit (even if you need to buy from Timmy and Tommy), go to your friend's island and sell. Then buy their native fruit at their Nooks till your pockets burst, then go back and sell at your Nooks. Rinse and repeat.

Having a lot of flowers and breeding hybrids causes lots of valuable bugs to appear on or near them which are easy bells.

Mainly money trees for me and money rock, stalk market and the fishes and insects I caught anything that is below 1000 sold to the Cranny. I'm storing the most expensive insects at the moment and waiting for Flick to come by. 😂

Catching butterflies/fish. Collecting shells, money trees. Also selling my apples on my hubbies island ( his native fruit is pears)

I use:
- Money trees (10,000 planted a day)
- DIY tarantula islands and saving my bugs for Flick
- Playing the Stalk Market every week, selling on other people's islands to guarantee a profit (the biggest money maker!)
- Catching bugs and fishing for fish

I just covered my island in non-native fruit trees, and I typically make 50k each day if I shake them. It’s not quite as much as fishing or bug hunting, but it’s very reliable and consistent and doesn’t need much effort. Also, fruit is cute!

I save bugs for Flick, and fish for CJ. Not all of them, mind you, but usually anything in the 2.5-3k and upwards. Flick visited my island back on Saturday and I made around 2 million bells from selling my stockpiles of butterflies, tarantulas, beetles, and moths.

I also play the stalk market now and I've definitely gotten a fair bit from that, too. As well as planting money trees.

stalk market is the quickest way to get a lot of bells in my experience but other than that selling non native fruits is good, if you have a lot of fruit trees you can sell the fruit for quite a fortune

Honestly, my consistent way to make bells is through fishing.
this or a fruit orchard of non-native fruits.

a friend of mine has fully upgraded their house by just fishings a bunch.

i also personally like catching bugs and selling them to flick ^^

I have a ton of blue/black hybrids, which means I get a ton of peacock butterfly spawns, which sell for 2500 bells each. A pocket full of those will net you 100,000, or more if Flick is around.

Edit: Really, obscenity filter, really?

That's one of the ways I make a lot of money too. And the filter cracks me up. :ROFLMAO: I have a ton of those butterflies in my storage right now waiting for Flick.

wait, they did not sell for that much in previous entries of AC, did they??
I didn’t bother to catch them because I thought they didn’t give much 😱

Honestly, trading with the community and accepting visitors for DIY crafting villagers is the best way to earn bells. You just have to be able to snipe the right deal. I got lucky with some of my Residence Hall DIY colors and lots of people seek these colors, and they're willing to pay up to 100k bells or 1 NMT for it or more. This is also SO MUCH LESS daunting than two hours of tarantula hunting and the small amount of bells I earn from catching in my own island.

Just letting three people come in in less than 20 minutes maximum and catalogue a certain collection had net me 1.5 million Bells, which was more than double what I had prior to offering this service. All I did was buy from a seller with some of my previously earned bells (prob the hardest part) and then I offered the service as well.

They're quite profitable now since it's 2.5k per butterfly and if you have a field of hybrid flowers they spawn like crazy; if Flick is in your town you'll be making bank.
