Good Town Maps

So...I'm thinking of resetting my town, but I am terrible at picking a good town layout and I don't really know what exactly makes a good town map. If anyone can post a picture of their town map to give me some ideas of a good one, that would be great! It would be even better if you could post a picture of your town with the paths as I am even worse at laying out my paths in a decent manner XD

I don't have any pictures but I would recommend choosing one with the bridge right in the middle.

these are all the layouts available in new leaf... have a look, "choose" and reset until you more or less get what you want

bridges aren't permanent,
but rivers, plaza's, rocks are.
I wouldn't be to concerned with the bridge too much

Thank you for your advice everyone! I usually like my town plaza in the middle so that all my paths can meet up there. Where does everyone else like their town plaza?

I absolutely love what you have done with Paarl, Seabell and Oishii Ai! I usually only go for towns with the plaza directly underneath the train station, with no rivers in between, but I think you've changed my mind!
