For anyone on Steam, do you have any games you recommend (need to be mac compatible)? I only ever joined because I'm obsessed with Binding of Isaac, so I got Rebirth to play over Christmas break. Now I'm on summer break and want to get something new but really don't want to waste money on something I won't play

Well...it depends on what games you like.

Don't Starve doesn't require an almighty graphics card and is relatively cheap.

Part 1 - Welcome to the Mac Game Store. They even have a weekend sale on Simulators -- which sounded completely boring until I saw Euro Truck Sim 2, Cities: Skylines, Goat Simulator, and I Am Bread. lol

Part 2 - Steam's summer sale will be going on from June 11-20. Pretty much everything on there will be like 66-90% off, so I'd suggest waiting a week on any suggestions you may get here.

Part 3 - Allow me to informally advertise my Steam game store in the TBT Marketplace, too. c;

And finally, Part 5 4 - The actual helping part. :p
Are we looking for something else like Isaac, or are you looking for something completely different?

Further, if you're looking for something like Isaac, is it the rogue-like elements that most appeal to you (the randomized dungeons, randomized pick-ups, perma-death, etc.) or the general dungeon-crawling?

I dunno what's Mac-happy, but I can attest to the following games:

One Way Heroics: If you like roguelikes, give this game a chance. It's very good. However, it's been over a month since its expansion released and the expansion is not yet available on Steam...I'd suggest not getting this on Steam as a result but it's up to you (as they will give free steam keys to the expansion later).

Risk of Rain: Semi-roguelike, platform-fighter sort of game. Give it a shot (pun not intended) if you like machinegunning things to death, or if you like having really fresh endgame play. (Just beware of the Hyper Threader glitch!)

100% Orange Juice: Like party games? Ever wanted to do them online? Well now you can! Just be warned that this game, despite its cheery exterior, can get really rude at times, as there's no true cap on how much punishment you can take (or give!).

Rogue Legacy: I know, more roguelikes, but oh well! If you like platforming games, or games with lots of upgrades, this game can deliver for a good, long while.

Half Minute Hero & The Second Coming: The first game may have set a record for one of the most stretched titles of PSP games, but that's okay! With high speed classic RPG action, rush through your enemies and save the world in 30 seconds! If you love games that are all about speed, what are you waiting for!? Surely not the end of the world, right?

Magicmaker too, but I'm too lazy to describe it. It's a sandboxy platformer game.

SHADOWRUN RETURNS AND SHADOWRUN DRAGONFALL
TRANSISTOR
AAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE THOSE THREE GAMES SOOOO MUCH. well thats because i love cyberpunk BUT IF YOU LIKE CYBERPUNK / RPGS THEN GET THOSE

i second dont starve - its really fun and even more fun with friends =)
i play payday 2 a lot which is a co-op shooter
xcom is pretty fun too, alien strategy game

SSR is awesome <3 And I need to get its expansion if they go on sale again!

Also, most Visual novel/"anime"/dating sim games they have.

Also Sunset looks really good, hope I can start on it soon. 8)

Civ V, if you can play it on your can. It's really good, having 500+ hours atm!

Wow i totally forgot about this thread, thanks for all your suggestions!

In response to some of your questions, I'm open to any type of game, not just something similar to what I have (although similar games would be good too!).

Also as far as dating sims I have HuniePop (just had to see what everyone was talking about) and I'm pretty addicted to it :P

Will definitely look into all of your suggestions though, thanks again!

Higurashi- When they cry. New graphics to match the anime. Looks great and is a classic horror and psychological visual novel
