Good places to use StreetPass?

Same with me! The Starbucks and McDonald's near my house are Nintendo Zones so I get street passes from them every time I pass by/visit.
Also, if you're into these sorts of things: ANIME CONVENTIONS. Or any sort of convention for nerdy/geeky things. Seriously. I went to Fanime 2014 and I decided to bring my 3DS, and I got 10 street passes every few minutes. I was there for three days, so thanks to that, I've been able to get all the puzzle pieces in puzzle swap.

Around public transport has gotten quite a few for me.

Malls, subway, EB game stores, anywhere where they have a nintendo conevention, comic con, anime con, pax, etc.

The mall, sitting in heavy traffic, game stores, restaurants, if you have apartment buildings near you, when I take walks I walk past many and I swear I have to be getting some from the people living on the sidewalk sides cause there's no way I'm getting them from anywhere else in those spots.
Also anytime there's been a midnight release of any game there's been 50+ for me, Pokemon X&Y was easily the craziest, I got 111 and my friend even got 120 some (cause he got there a little earlier)
Also went to the PS4 release with someone and I got a bunch that night too...

For me it's in school. I'm in college now and when I bring my 3DS to school, I get at least 10 streetpasses whereas I would be really lucky to get 5 in malls on Sundays.

I usually bring mine everywhere. I only get one streetpass from a friend I play New Leaf with at school. But at the mall or another busy area I tend to get between 5-10 streetpasses while Im out.

UGH streetpass is horrible for me, with nintendo zones no longer working im out of luck, im lucky if i pick up 1 or 2 a month walking around, I took my 3ds to a CONCERT packed with 2000+ people ( and lots of kids ) yet NO Tags, yet I take my 3ds to a carwash and there are only older adults around and I pick up a tag?? weird??

strangely enough I actually passed 1 person in the CAR last week, which is an extremely rare occurrence for me to even ever get a streetpass anywhere.

At the mall. I always bring my ds when I walk my dogs, so I get streetpasses and play coins. Oooh and just any stores. I bring my ds a lot of places.....
