I like the map I have. There's a top land and bottom land for me. The bottom land is bigger. Oh, btw, I saw how you want Bunnie and Tangy. I have them both.
Try not to get one with a beach that's split up by the waterfall so it has a ramp going to each part. Also, if you plan to have a lot of PWPs, aim for a river that's out of the way (such as most of it on one specific corner) and go for minimum ponds.
This is the map I got for my 2nd main. It was actually the very first one rover showed me. I normally map roll forever but as I was bringing a character from main one over to be mayor, I was afraid if I reset, I'd lose her and the 5 mil I put towards her house. It worked out perfectly though as the top right corner will be my villager neighborhood. Bringing all my dreamies over now from cycle towns. Plot resetting has been pretty rough but now that I have 10, I can start placing stuff well so they will move in where I need them to.
@DaCoSim Your map is awesome and I am forever jealous.
I think a good map is anything that you feel is workable for YOU. Personally I had no clue you could reset for different maps when I first started playing and I went with my first option, never felt like resetting and I've had a lot of fun crying trying to make it work and look nice. But I enjoy a challenge.
