but re-tail by the train station is a plus to me, especially if you do a lot of online trading

I think it looks nice. I really like how the town hall, plaza and Re-Tail are near each other at the top of the map.

A good layout is really about your own personal preferences!

I personally like a shorter river and a south facing waterfall, but that's me!

only oddity about it is the chunk of island you cant access unless you get the swim suit, but once you get a swim suit you can make that your own little private beach slot, with palm trees and nice flowers
