Hello everyone, obviously I'm doing some extreme tt here haha, but,
I'm someone who doesn't really like completing the critterpedia slowly. It stresses me out thinking about, oh this month is ending soon I need to catch xyz. So I've opted to complete the critterpedia, then just play at leisure, as I'm really just in it to decorate and talk to animals ^^
However, this time beetle catching seems soooooo much harder than new leaf. I was never good at this hyper accurate and slow catching, but this time the bugs scare even easier I feel, and even on islands I've formatted to optimise beetle spawns as much as I could, I STILL haven't found a golden stag. It's one of the last bugs I need, and the last of an of the summer catches I need, it's been keeping me in august for a few days now.
Those of you who are completing the critterpedia, where did you find the golden stag? are there rare islands that have boosted beetle rates? What time did you have luck at? I'm trying at around 5pm-7pm to avoid scorpions spawning. Part of my issue may be is my normal town in literally coated in flowers and that may be screwing up the bug spawns, but it's not like I can put my flowers in storage so I'm kinda screwed on that front ^^;
Any tips are appreciated!
