golden slingshot

So I want to know if I glitched my game into never being able to receive the golden slingshot. I keep running into more silver slingshots even though I already have one. I got my silver slingshot in a roundabout way however because I've never had a regular slingshot and used my net to pop balloons that went over the edge of the cliff by the ocean in my town. Did I mess up my game or do I just have to be more patient and a golden slingshot will eventually appear? It just doesn't seem normal to be able to get more than 1 silver slingshot and I cannot find anything online saying whether or not if one is able to only get 1 silver slingshot or if someone can get more than 1 of them.

i also got several silver slingshots before i got my golden one. i don't know if you getting your first silver slingshot matters (i don't think it would but idk) but yeah i get a lot of silver slingshots lmao.

You get lots of silver sling shots - and always will.

Gold sling shot - you only get one gold sling shot - but if you miss its balloon or you shoot it down & it goes in the river/whatever then the gold balloon will pass over again - until you do shoot it down and pick it up.

Once you have picked up the gold sling shot, that's it you won't get another going over.
But the silver ones - they keep coming.

You haven't glitched your game, keep looking out for the gold balloon, it will come round eventually (I don't know how many balloons you have had to pop first, its not many).
The silver is 16, its possible its a further 16 for the gold balloon to come over, but I don't know for sure.

You haven't glitches your game it takes time and Silver is common
