Hello all,

I have a couple questions that I've been meaning to ask for a while. I've been buying fertilizers almost every day from the emporium. I don't know how many I've bought in total, but I feel as if I should be nearing the 50 (?) required to get the golden shovel from Leif. So, here is what I need to ask:

Do you need to buy fertilizer EVERY day, 50 days in a row? Or can you skip days? (I don't always remember.)

Do you have to do anything with the fertilizer? I usually just get rid of it. Do you need to plant it or anything though?

I thought for the shovel you had to buy 50 saplings?
Well anyway it doesn't have to be everyday you can miss a day if you want.

I used the fertilizer to increase my chances of getting hybrids, I had mixed results.

Buying 50 saplings gets you the golden axe. Buying 50 fertilizer gets you the golden shovel. It does not have to be 50 days in a row.
