Golden Shovel Elitists!

I actually was really surprised when I got my golden shovel recently since I wasn't even trying for it. My reaction was, "wow I've gone through over 50 bags of fertilizer and still haven't gotten a single blue rose." ;_;

I've never used my golden shovel. I just stuffed it on a table in my house and kept using the silver one for ore rocks. Same with the golden watering can - my flowers are mostly in long single lines so golden can doesn't give me any speed advantage, and I have piles of black roses I want to keep black.

I just use mine to make money trees. Otherwise it feels kind of useless to me. But it is pretty.

Aw man, really? That sucks. I kinda hate how a lot of silver tool features don't carry over to the gold, like how the golden axe doesn't make stumps as frequently as the silver.

Anyway, I don't have the golden shovel yet, not really in a huge hurry to. I'm not sure I want bell trees, don't know where I would plant them lol, they're kind of tacky. I suppose the fertilizer effect is useful for hybrids, that I will look forward to. c:

I'm guessing it's because they wanted the other tools to have their own special feature so they are still useful considering they are also rare.
