You need to reach VIP status by depositing a lot of money in the bank, like 1mil+ and I reached VIP status and got a gold shopping card in the mail but I still don't know what it does..

Me too, have no Idea what its for. I suspect It might allow you to buy more expensive thinga, but I could be wrong.
