I second this! Before my friends watering my golden roses with a golden can, I never got golden roses by myself because the RNG kept messing with me, even tho I had a huge patch of black roses.

So as long as you water the black roses with a golden can, you are meeting all the requirements. But its still up to luck if it spawns. But having people water them will definitely help!

yep you can, my hubby got his 3 star island to produce some... i gave him some blacks from my island and a golden watering can. he has limited playtime, so i'm the hybrid breeder.
