Golden roses question

on my jap game I noticed I have like 4 golden roses and is it possible to crossbreed gold rose + gold rose to make more?

you let black roses wither, and then water them with golden watering can

Please note that flowers won't wilt under the Beautiful Town ordinance. I plan on using Beautiful Town until I get a perfect town rating enough days to unlock the golden watering can. Then I plan to switch to a different ordinance.
