Hi all. I don't know if anyone is interested, but I was able to complete the fairy tale challenge for the HHA and unlock the golden exterior. I updated my exterior with the golden roof, siding, door, mailbox and fence. I don't know how to upload a picture from my ds. My dream code is 5500-2189-0118. I don't mind if someone wants to go to my town and take a picture to upload on this forum. Lol, I'm of the "older" generation, so just to play the game is sometimes a challenge.
I left the interior of my home exactly as it was when I received 1.1 million points. The exterior had the mermaid theme prior to me changing it to the golden. My home is fully upgraded (all the rooms). Once I unlocked the golden items, it took a couple of days to add all the items because you can only upgrade one item at a time.
Thank you so much! That was so kind of you. I really wanted a picture posted so everyone could see it first. It was not hard to complete the fairy tale theme. I had hardly any furniture inside. I only had two complete sets!
I am doing the same theme...I only have two rooms done though...working on the other 3...slowly getting there. I was unhappy that I didn't get all the trophies because I went from 150K to 450K in one shot so it skipped the trophies in between I think I need to see Lyle because I thought I had another exterior upgrade but he told me I was bustin his chops when I asked for it...so maybe I asked too soon?!
Did you happen to look inside? I have regal in one room (no wallpaper), mermaid (complete), lovely (only a few pieces), Rocco ( only a few pieces), and the main room is patchwork with ros? wallpaper & palace tile. It looks awful, but it worked. Do you want to catalog any of my furniture/wallpaper/carpet? I'd be glad to help you. I also have a couple of dolls, the dollhouse and a couple of other misc pieces that were considered fairy tale. Let me know if you want to catalog anything in my house.
yep I did...I have almost complete regal and mermaid rooms...a complete rococo room...still waiting on the rest of my lovely pieces from the catalog and then will have a lovely room...my other spare room is a play room with a lot of fairy tale items in it but I might have to remove all non fairy tale items for now and see if that helps. I think once my lovely stuff arrives it should go up.
I had to do the same. I removed everything that was not fairy tale and stored either in my basement or in my museum. Once I did that, my score was 1.1 million. I also made sure nothing was on the floor that belonged on a table. Let me know if you need anything!!
ah ok...I have things on the floor like flowers but they are in pots or baskets...maybe I should put them all away! I really need patchwork stuff...I only have the dresser...I also need lovely chair, dresser, table, lamp, clock and armoir...regal I need armoir and clock and I think thats it...if you any or have extras or if I can come catalog what you do have that would be great!
