Golden Axe

If I have a second char, and buy 50 saplings, would said character get a golden axe?
(Read somewhere that no, they wouldn't) so just wondering :3

I don't think it would, if I recall correctly I done this with another char in my old town but I didn't get it, however I may not have bought 50 and may have bought less. I may be wrong though, so yeah. It would be interesting to find out.

Every character can earn the golden tools. All my characters have the watering can, axe and shovel.

Yep, and then if you delete that character and create another you can get yet another golden axe, and so on.
