Gold Nuggets disappearing?

Hello I bought some gold nuggets from someone and they dropped them off at my island. I picked up 2 as he was leaving and so when my character came out of the airport after the visitor left all of the gold nuggets were gone! Including the ones I picked up they were no longer in my pockets. I don't know if my game glitched or what just wanted to know if anyone had something similar happen!

did they leave quietly/by pressing minus rather than use the airport? sometimes the game doesn't save right if so

also do they still have your bells or whatever you payed with?

Did that person press - to leave? Sometimes the game doesn't save properly so people have been telling others to leave properly through DAL. Did they keep your bells? If you didn't have your bells it could have been a scammer

I did it through Z2U.com and paid through Paypal. I've bought with them before and it didn't happen. He didn't walk to the airport I think he just hit the minus button and it sent him back. Cause he was standing in front of me when the screen said someone was leaving. So it could be that.

Yeah I think that's what they did and I paid them with money through Paypal. So hopefully they can come back and give me what I paid for.
