Well not really... I've seen some golden furniture go for almost 500,000 and all it takes are 3 golden ores and 10,000 to make them...

You can get 1 a day if you don't have a silver spade, and there are what, 5-6 different ores? So it's 1/6 chance ish a day for one minimum, so they aren't exactly common, and I won't sell mine for 25k each.
