So I have all the gold exterior items on my house besides the fence mailbox and a pavement if there is one. Any one have any idea how to get those upgrades because I keep checking back and he still only offers the roof walls and door.

it is a combo of both inside and out...whatever your theme is try and stick to that...I found that even having less furniture inside is fine as long as it fits the theme you are going for.
