Going to buy another copy! Please help.

So, I'm finally done with school forever! I got some money, and I wanna buy another copy tomorrow! But, I have no idea which theme I should do. Cute is overused, so I don't want that. I have no idea actaully.. What should I do?

Well, you could do a spooky theme! Filled with halloween goodies, scary villagers, and a spooky forest even. Or maybe an industrial theme, there's plenty of PWPs for that. Hmm...Maybe even a Japanese theme? (The traditional, old wooden style). Hope I helped spark some thought!

Kinda got the idea from your username, but you should do a fairytale themed town! I was looking at some pictures, and there were some candy houses (Hansel & Gretel), a house with 7 beds (Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs), it would be super cute! ^-^

Maybe a town with all villagers of your favorite species.

I'd go for suggesting an organic approach... start up your game and get your starter villagers and just roll with it and see what you feel like once you've got your town map & villagers, they can give you an idea of a theme. When i got my second copy I was going to go for a barren/wasteland theme but just couldn't do it to my fluffy villagers ahah. Sometimes the town will dictate what theme is best. Good luck with your second copy! Spooky does sound fun, though could be hard to maintain

This, I think, is very good advice. Technically, cute, spooky, futuristic...EVERY theme is "overused" or "overdone" in a way. Really. So I say, do what YOU want, regardless of what other people have done. It's YOUR town - remember that! Do what YOU enjoy, or find out what you enjoy as you begin anew.

Mark Twain once said that no idea is truly original, and he was right. There may be more of less of them, but none are truly original as someone, somewhere, at some point in time has thought of it.

Do what you like and what you can handle and maintain. If cute is in the directory of Dreams 1 gazillion times...who cares? YOUR cute will still be uniquely you. Same with spooky or otherwise.
