Glitched villager?

Hello!
I don't really know how to describe this but
I loaded the game to make a quick screenshot of something and on a title screen one of my villagers(more specifically Olaf who should be asleep at this time) was shown dozing off on a beach. I know that sometimes villagers "couldn't fall asleep" and they walk around like normally they do during daytime. I found Olaf dozing near his house and I naturally woke him up but... From this time he just stand still. I can move him around but he doesn't react(I mean he reacted...after I moved him to the other side of my island lol). After quitting to the title screen he just teleported near my house, and after reloading he teleported near other villager's house.
I wonder... Does this happened to anyone else? Will he "unglitch" when the game will load a new day?

It doesn't sound like he is glitched. Villagers will teleport around the town when you reload your game. Sounds like he was just acting sleepy that day.

Well, yeah, but he standing still for almost an hour. I've never seen this before

If you mean villagers just stand there doing nothing for a while...I've noticed this too. They literally just stand there for minutes, hours...not doing anything. I don't know what this is.

Definitely sounds like a glitch to me...standing in the same spot for that much time doesn't sound right.

There was (is?) a similar glitch when K.K. shows up too, where they'll glitch and stand in the same place for a while presumably because the game thinks they're sitting down listening to K.K., so it's not out of the realm of possibility that it's a glitch. First time I've heard of this particular case though.

I also had the same thing happen with Stitches (falling asleep standing up in random places and then just standing there for hours on end). Exiting and restarting the game didn't help (that just teleported him). The following day, it was raining, and there was also some weirdness there. He basically wore his raincoat the entire day, even when the skies cleared and the other villagers wore their normal clothes, and even when inside. Fortunately, that was only for a day or two, and now he's back to normal.

So I'm hoping that it's just a minor glitch with the villagers that sorts itself out eventually.
