Glitched move in

Ah I see, i thought itd be one of those cases where one player would see the villager do one thing while the other player would see the villager do a different thing. It really stinks that theyd tried to give you the villager like that. Even if it wouldnt have ended with a glitched plot, its always better to be safe than sorry. This plot glitch is starting to look nastier by the day with all the related glitches coming up. I've probably come across another by-product of the glitch. I wish ya the best with fixing it if the next update doesnt have the patch yet ;;

then i guess letting it be is rhe best way, they were quick to fix the amiibo glitch so I'm sure this will also be fixed somehow

I guess I'll wait till Thursday if the update changes anything, if not then I'll just have to fix it myself.
Resetting my island isn't an option anyway, since I already got Raymond, Kabuki and Tangy in mystery islands, I'm not gonna get so lucky once more

Just wanted to post a little update, I couldn't wait till tomorrow, so I tried the solution moonshi shared....​

And it worked perfectly! Took me 5 minutes to move a normal villager first (had to do that cause the glitched one was my last move in) and another 10 minutes and the glitched house was gone

I don't mean to sound harsh because obviously the glitch is horrible and what you're going through is horrible - but how can the other player even be aware of the fact that their villager is glitched?

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I'm glad you got it fixed, though-- I really hope the upcoming update fixes all of this and we can adopt in peace. Whenever I see a random move in or a voided villager from another town I visited, I sweat a little..

The villager was in boxes, she was literally standing inside a box and crafting on air.
When I asked the other player what happened they said she was forced out and asked if that would be what glitched the villager....
So they saw the villager crafting on nothing and new that it was glitched....and still wanted people to adopt her...

That's why I won't be visiting other people anymore....guess it's single player from now on till they fix that problem for good

If I remember right the update is tomorrow--so, with hope, that won't be long!

Oh, I see.
Because I think in most cases people that were adopting out the villagers had no clue a glitch would be caused.
I really hope this is patched up with the update tomorrow.
